I got my tC from them and their staff and facility were really nice and they were very knowledgeable and friendly. They had a lot of inventory in the back lot and if they didn't have what I wanted they would order it for me. They also have a used car lot down the street which is also very nice and the staff is great there too. I was very impressed.

My wife and I had been looking for a silver automatic Scion Xa at area dealerships for sometime -without any luck- when we finally decided to give it a try at the Alexandria Toyota/Scion dealership, even though its location is a bit far from home. Eric, the salesperson, was friendly, professional, and most importantly honest. Even though they had only one XA in stock which wasn't a silver automatic, he didn't try to push the sale or try to sell us another car altogether. We gave him a deposit and a deadline to find the car we were looking for and he promised to comply by the deadline. He followed up with us and finally got the car we wanted a few days before the deadline. Was very honest about the functionality of the options we considered installing and explained to us the various features of the car in detail. The attitude at the Finance Dept. was chilly maybe because we used short term financing with large down payment. Very good service.

Got my xB RS 2.0 #1254 at Alexandria Toyota. Very big dealership probably the largest in the DC area. Problem is and this problem I found at all the dealers. Sales people do not know much about the Scion line. Some cannot even sign into the Scion Web Site.
Salesperson as a great man very honest and very friendly, however he was not familiar with the cars features when giving me the show thru of the car. This is common from the dealers I have been told.
The service department is very large lots of people running around. The people who write if the service orders also do not know that much about the Scion line. My service person who wrote up the order to repair a flat tire, did not even know what type of spare the car had and even when the spare was on the car she asked if I had used the spare.
Overall a good dealership, with honest people who have just not been told about the Scion line and the features of the cars and mainly the web site.

"I'm in the market for a tC, so I went over to Alexandria Toyota/Scion since I purchased my previous cars from them. I stood in the Scion area for 25 minutes and was not approached by one single salesperson, when I had my back turned a salesman "picked up" an older man with his daughter and started talking to them. Finally, I was approached by the sales manager who apologized, but it was too late, I'm not buying from them."
stolen from xyrcncp, but his experience was EXACTLY the same as mine, I even called the dealer on my cell phone from a seat at a scion sales desk.
I ended up buying from Kay Jennings Scion, in Springfield.

I just bought my car on 5/5/05. Everyone was so helpful and my salesman was very laid back. He showed me service and parts, even though I know where everything is. The managers were wonderful too, and I've been back several times and everytime the have acknowledged my presence.

I bought my xB in December 2003 from Alexandria Scion. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I liked the no-pressure approach and the peer-pricing policy. My salesman was honest. If I had a complaint, it is that I had to call to check on the status of my order. But they ended up delivering it early.
