David Liang of Longo was great! I started sending Longo an email about an specific XB, minutes later, David called me. I explained what I wanted, he said they have the car with one extra option (I wanted complete stock), BUT, he was going to do everything he can to make it work in my favor.
I drove there with my two trade in, and the XB already was outside in the front door reserved to me. I felt really good about that because first I tried with Scion Symes/Pasadena, and for 3 days was pure BS (read my review about that dealership).
Longo matched the trade in numbers from Scion Pasadena, AND, they gave me more money in one of my cars to cover the price of the extra option of the XB.. I was really happy about that!!!!!
Also, the XB came with some scratches on the front and back bumper, BUT Longo is going to re-paint it for free.. and they are going to give me a free rental.
I'm super happy with David Liang, Longo and their service. I highly recommend this dealership.

Longo Toyota Scion was very professional and quickly sent me a complete email quote with price breakdowns and out-the-door price as I requested. The Internet Sales Manager Adam Chi was very professional, but their final price was over $150 higher than the out-the-door price of the Dealer in which I eventually purchased my vehicle. Adam Chi of Longo Toyota is courteous and friendly and is willing to work with customers to make them a reasonable and good offer. Although I purchased my car elsewhere I will call Longo Toyota next time I’m shopping for a Toyota or Scion.

All I can say is "wow!" Don Kim was the man from my first email to handing me over the keys to my new tC. He responded promptly to emails and would follow up with me every couple of days to see where I was at with selling my truck. Once I sold my truck I gave him a call and told him I'd be in on a Wednesday and he said he'd put my vehicle on "hold" for me. Many other dealerships told me they could not hold a vehicle for me ::cough::Toyota/Scion of Huntington Beach"::cough:: and I was a tad skeptical when Don said he could. So, after I left my bank that Wednesday to head out to LONGO, I called Don and told him I'd be there in an hour. When my g/f and I pulled up to the lot, and walked in to ask for Don, we saw a Silver tC sitting right out front of the offices there, it was a 5-speed manual just like I ordered. It was my car! We were in and out of the dealership in right about 1 hour! Thanks DON KIM!

Well. I won't drop any names in here, but I was not satisfied with how I was treated at Longo at all. Except the feeling of driving out my new xB.
Well, I went in a week prior to the actual purchase of my car, and I was ready to buy that day, right after the test-drive. We had/or could get all of the papers and things needed for the purchase that day. The sales rep. advised us that he would be leaving and wouldn't be in for 3 days. I was called in to make the payments and sign papers with my popz, but I was then informed that my car wasn't even ready to take home yet. =0( Dayum that was a burn, but I was called in 2 days later and drove down to pick up my new whip, but still more problems came up. 1. The car wasn't washed 2. I had like a 4/5 tank of gas 3. They didn't have the security installed into it. 4. I waited for 3 hours just to leave, which made me late to work.
BUT... DRIVING OFF THE LOT W/ MY NEW WHIP WAS......
PRICELESS!

I had visited Longo once before, and was put off by how large and crowded the place is. Personal service is very valuable to me, so I left. Months passed as I continued researching. Then I was in an accident and needed a new car immediately. By now I knew exactly what I wanted, so I started to call and visit dealerships all over greater Los Angeles. No one had what I wanted. Knowing Longo's high volume meant greater selection, I emailed Verone. What a pleasure he was: knowledgeable, quick to reply, and genuinely excited about Scion vehicles. No pressure whatsoever. I drove out that evening to put down a deposit. While doing initial paperwork, Verone checked allocations, and saw a vehicle matching my request due to arrive that very night. He put my name on it, and told me he would know by 9am the next day if the car actually arrived. It did, and I picked it up during my lunch hour. It was so easy, and I got exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Longo, but make an appointment first!

First Impression: Store looked packed as hell and everyone seemed so damn busy.. Didn't see very many SCION's at all at the location.. 9/1/05
Staff Attitude: After standing around for 10-15 minutes one of the employees ask me if i need any help, i say yes.. and he says he's gonna radio someone to help me.. 15 minutes later.. no help still.. STILL standing in the middle of the damn entrance.
Staff Knowledge: Didn't get that far, didn't seem like they have much knowledge since no one came and no one asked anything.
Inventory level: Little or nothing.
Facility Quality: Huge and nice, employee(s) aren't that great.
I would not buy from here.. I went to Penske and was helped right away, not only that but the whole process took no more than 30mins. Penske sold their 06 tC FM to ME.

I visited several other dealers, getting quotes for a stock tC at way more than they should be, and at a month or so wait. I went to Longo, and not only did I get my tC for a killer price, but Verone helped me drive away with my tC that very day!!! I'd recommend Longo to everyone lookin for a Toyota!

When choosing your dealership for purchase, you're essentially choosing your service people too. It's entirely up to you over time but chances are you stay where "home" is.
I had a great experience in purchasing my xA from Kim. Everyone is very friendly and willing to answer anything. They even offered to help with my A/C under a service bulletin.
The process lasted 4 days because of the 07.04 holiday weekend. That's ok because they said “under warranty I had a rental waiting for me right next door at Enterprise”. However, when I was able to pick up my car I found it in distress. Nothing was put back where I left it. The back seats were down. The cargo cover was in the floorboard. Some massive piece of grocery grade plastic was in the floor as well that appears it was used as a seat cover. My dash was incorrectly reassembled. The frame to the dash gages wasn't in place and one of the tabs on the Plexiglas was hanging out of it.
Where's the LOVE?

Great service! I went and called in advance to see if they had any flint mica tCs in stock, apparently they had just sold their last one; but within an hour they had called back saying someone had cancelled their order and I had first dibs. I gladly put a reserve on the car, and went and bought it the next day. Kim was a great sales rep, and made us feel very comfortable about our purchase. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy in the LA area

I went originally to Wondries Toyota for a 2005 Thundercloud Silver xB with an automatic but they did not have what the car and I wanted the car now. I called Longo Scion in the morning and made an appointment. I arrived at 1:00pm and was out of there, with the keys, at 3:30pm. Amazingly fast service! The salesman wasn't as knowledgable about the car as I would have thought but I knew what I wanted so that was no problem. Highly recommended!

Longo Toyota/Lexus/Scion is one of the best Toyota dealerships I have been to. Excellent staff, very friendly. Used to get my Toyota pickup serviced there and thats where my dad got his Tacoma from. He said it was an overall great experience with longo. I feel the same feeling as I have bought my Scion from them as well. I really recommend Longo because you can buy your car anywhere, but buying it where people will take care of you is rare these days.

Verone of Longo Scion was awesome!
I called around all of Southern California looking for a stock auto tC in my color preference.
The dealerships either:
a) only sold ones with more options than I wanted & wouldn't bother helping me find my preference
b) had long waiting lists
c) would say anything just to get me into the dealership.
After reading this forum I decided to call up Verone & was extremely pleased.
He was very friendly, honest & straightforward. Longo is the largest dealership (= large allocation) & is an impressive dealership geared towards service. I got my car in about a week even though I was told a month wait. He constantly kept me updated, very informative, and made everything quick, easy & painless. Not only was I buying a tC, but I was investing in a person I trust & am comfortable dealing with for any future concerns. Thanks Longo & Thanks Verone!

My first impression on Longo Toyota was not a good one. I had driven out there in traffic for a test drive appointment. The person I had an appointment with wasn't even there and the keys to the car had left with one of the dealers. I wasted a night but I did get to see a tC in person.
After that I decided to look around at other places and at the same time I gave Verone a call and placed an order. He kept me posted on when my car came into the lot and when I could pick it up. The whole buying process was easy and painless. The staff is great, I can not rate the inventory level high because there are no tCs on the lot but we all know it's selling hot. I waited a little longer than a month for my car, an acceptable amount of time to wait in my opinion.
Overall, I had a good experience with Longo because they did not try to cheat me into buying something I did not want like other dealers I went to. They got me what I wanted as promised. I will buy my next car from Longo.

I worked with Sergio...and he made the process easy. Longo was the only Scion dealership that had the color and options I wanted in stock. I would recommend them.

First, this is the second vechicle I bought from Longo.
first impression this deal: it took 3 pages to get a Scion salesperson. [it WAS busy, we bought the 67th car that DAY]
Krystal was most helpful, although not part of the Scion staff she was great. They had at least 2 white xBs with automatic, my first choice. I had tried several dealers without success.[none suggested to order exactly what I wanted, including my added options of spoiler etc.]
Longo is the biggest dealership for a reason. [not to mention the SUBWAY, STARBUCKS and AAA in the showroom.;-) ]
overall very good experience I will try them FIRST next time

Longo strives on customer service and have succeeded greatly with me. One of the best if not the best inventory selection for Scions in the US.
The Scion crew, Richard, Sergio, Verone and Kim, are very knowledgeable and great people to deal with. Always a smile when I see them. And a handshake and show of gratitude with every purchase even with the Toyota sales people that I saw.
Also what other Toyota/Scion dealer has a crew of 90 techs available to take care of your ride and most of all a Starbucks and Subway within the dealership while you wait. Hands down an awesome site to see!
I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking towards purchasing a Scion.

The guys at Longo Scion provided excellent service. I had some poor experiences in my search for the tC from other dealerships. The following post was written by me that basically chronicals my dealership experience: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20632

Got my tC there, stock. In and out in 2.5 hours, and it was the Toyota Financing guy that I had to wait for. Kim even had the car prepped ahead of time. Good Job!
No problem with initial purchase - of course. Already being familiar with what's under the hood, I neglected to look at the engine, until the day after I already got it home. Popped the hood and EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD IS CAKED ON DIRT and GRIME - FILTHY. Returned to the dealer a few days later for aftermarket installs and request to have the engine bay cleaned; I pop the hood and show the service rep and he replies "of course, no problem, will do." After waiting 2 hours for the service, I receive my car and first thing I check is under the hood - NEVER TOUCHED, STILL FILTHY. They request for me to wait around "another hour or two" or I can "come back" to get it done.
Another complaint is the lack of follow through I received AFTER my car purchase. I was enthused to drop even more money for aftermarket parts and mods (Longo has superior knowledge and contacts for mods/parts) , but was told multiple times to call back or that I would receive a call regarding the parts. Again, NEVER HAPPENED.

We purchased our xB in February 04 from Longo Scion. Richard was da bomb! He answered all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable with the entire process. Verone is great with customers as well. This was the most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had. If your in So Cal, take the time to visit the crew at Longo. You wont regret it!

I purchased my second xB from Longo Scion. Verone (my salesperson) was very professional and went out of his way to help me get the car I wanted. I would recommend Longo to anyone looking to buy a Scion.
