I had a great experience with Dave at Motorcars Scion in Cleveland. This is the second car I have purchased from there and hopefully the next place I will go (If I ever need another car). Dave was very patient with me and my changes and was a fountain of information and suggestions. There was no pressure at all. He found my car for me quickly, as the color I wanted wasn't in stock. The day of the pick up was a bit rough, but the staff at motorcars worked to make whatever delay encountered was taken care of as fast as possible. So, If you want a good car buying experience....see Dave at Motorcars...you won't regret it.

I am very happy with my experience at Motorcars so far. Dave Flathers is truly the only reason I bought a new car.
I was looking at a Civic SI or a Scion tC. I went to classic Honda in Streetsboro to test drive a Civic SI and the salesmen got a little pissy with me when I told him I wasn't going to buy a car that week but still wanted a quote. He also quoted me at $500 above MSRP which also pissed me off. I have had several similar experiences at dealerships before. I don't get how getting pissy when someone doesn't buy a car the same day they test drive it sells cars.
Anyway, Dave answered all my questions, he was straight with me about pricing and labor to install my extras, and most important. He let me know that when I am ready to buy he was there to help. No pressure at all. I definitely recommend visiting Dave and Motorcars so far.

Ok, well Motorcars used to be the best place to go.
Please - anybody that wants good service take the time and go to Premier. Dave was what made motorcars so good, but he is at Premier now. Motorcars has gone so far downhill now... they don't care about the customers. I went in the other day just to see what was new and they tried to push me into trading my tC for an xB. NO!

I inquired over the internet for a Scion xB. I had to place a deposit in order to even test drive the car. The car came in nearly 6 full weeks later than I was told originally.
When I did test drive the xB, I had a trade that I wanted to trade in. They only offered me a couple hundred bucks for a vehicle that still runs, and will continue to run. I was very insulted. I decided to keep the car and give the Scion to my wife.
I wasn't impressed with my sales experience despite all of their rave reviews on here.

When I placed my order for my Blue Scion xB, our salesperson was great. When it came time for the car to arrive to the dealership, they "couldn't find" it. They said the car was lost. It appeared a few days later. I wrote them a personal letter about my thoughts on this matter, and it's been several months with no response.

I was very happy with Dave. He was low pressure, understood I was on a budget, and got me exactly what I wanted in just a few weeks. The guy even came in on a day off after working all day before at a car show to seal the deal with me, just because that was when it was most convenient for me. Dave Flathers very patiently followed up on my inquiry over a series of months while I completed research on which vehicle to purchase. Finally, all factors drove me back to an xB as the right car for me.
Just as I was going to call Dave to set up a visit to purchase, he called me!
The visit went very well, and Dave exhibited the patience and goodwill of a cheery professional therapist, as I went through an hour or more trying to pin down the right color in the dark on a cold evening in Feb (Black Cherry no longer available).
Once settled on a color, everything moved quickly. The car was prepped with options literally overnight and I picked up in less than 48 hours. Dave and the staff were great and the car is well prepared.

Well, I bought my tC back in April from Metro Toyota in Parma, but I have all my serice done at Motorcars. I have had no less then perfect service from Dave and the rest of the people from here. I didn't buy my car from here but I do wish that I would have. I only take my tC to Motorcars for service. The establishment is very nice and professional... yet nicely laid back. I brought my friend in to buy a tC from Dave and I plan on bringing my brother in when he's ready for his Scion.
The Motorcars dealership has everything it takes to be an awesome Scion Dealership. Alot of this has to do with the quality salesperson who has a sincere interest in seeing the Scion brand succeed and make sure that customers are happy, satisified and comfortable with thier car buying process. Dave @ Motorcars is the reason I have a Scion xB. When none were available at my local dealership he stepped up and gave a car from his dealership's allocation to my local dealership for my benefit. He also offered to answer all my questions via email and through phone calls even without receiving the sale directly. When I was considering giving up on a Scion completely he actually convinced me to stick it out. Once again this was done without direct benefit to his dealership.
Where else would you ever get that kind of selfless service? His only concern was if I was going to be a satisfied SCION customer. Motorcars and Dave Flathers are a rare group in today’s new car sales world. They could possibly be a model for other dealerships!

I bought my tC from David Flathers at Motorcars a few months ago and couldn't be happier. He went out of his way to make sure that my every need was met. Found the car for me with no problems when other dealers acted as if it was an inconvenience. I ended up driving an hr + away from my house just to deal with him, when I have 2-3 dealers much closer to home. I would recommend him and Motorcars to anyone I know. If you are in Ohio and looking for a Scion, go see him! It's worth the drive from wherever you are, I promise.
To top it off, Motorcars is probably the nicest dealership in Ohio; it's like the Taj Mahal. Everything is professional looking and they really treat you like a Queen (King). Their service department has the best hours of anyone (open until 3AM) if you should happen to need service. Another A+++ on their side. Check them out!

I bought my '06 tC about three weeks ago from David Flathers and had a great experience. I did a lot of research online and knew exactly what I wanted. I went to another dealer first and they said they could get me the car within a week. A few days later they called back and told me two weeks. I called around and Dave had the exact car I wanted on the lot. I showed up and later that morning I was driving it home. Dave and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and they did it so fast. I had a great experience buying the car and I totally love my tC. They’re highly recommended.

I just purchased the '06 tC and it was a wonderful experience. Dave Flathers was awesome. He was not pushy, but extremely helpful and made me feel very comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed our purchasing experience with David Flathers and Motorcars Scion. I had contacted several dealerships but chose Motorcars even though there is a closer dealership to my home, much closer. David Flathers did an exceptional and very businesslike job. David persevered: from his timely reply to our internet request through the 6 week wait for delivery and working to help us understand, a somewhat confusing list of accessories. Through it all, David worked to satisfy our needs and answer our questions and then delivered our car as promised. Additionally, Michael Lozada, the finance manager, maintained the same businesslike approach and processed us through with no glitches or stress. We would not hesitate to send friends and family to see these two young men who understand that first and foremost they must "serve" the customer. When we decided to buy our next car, David will be the first sales representative we will call to see if Motorcars carries it.

I love my tC! Can't wait to break it in properly so I can punch it and see how quick it really is because it feels super responsive right now while not even eating the RPM's. I have no clue how these guys keep the price down on this thing. It should have been much more expensive! Great features like the dual sunroof which I really love and the stereo is nice too especially for stock. As far as Motorcars goes, this is the second car I bought from them, the first being a 04' Corolla the second being an 06' tC. Had a very good experience with the sales staff both times and especially this time with the Scion staff AKA Dave Flathers. His red bull rack really adds the final touch to their million dollar scion stand in the back corner. Kind of feels like a dealership inside of a dealership. Good stuff. I recommend this guy and this car to anyone looking for a Scion.

The entire dealership was friendly and willing to listen to any questions that I had, from David to the finance guy, to the people that answer the phones. I had shopped for my tC at another dealership first, but they got my deposit and then wanted nothing to hear from me. David kept me up to date with the progress of where my car was, when I would get it, etc. The fact that I can bring my car in for service at 1am is just icing on the cake. This was my first new car and it will definitely not be my last from Motorcars.

Excellent in all areas. I actually had a deal at another location but they could not locate a car. I was in a bind I had sold my truck and needed to move soon. I called Dave up after reading some postings on OHIOSCIONS.com and basically said look I need this now. Within an hour he located two for me to choose from. The whole experience with these guys was great. Dave even picked me up at my house 45 minutes away from the dealership since I had no vehicle. I know these guys don't make bank on these cars so it has to just be attitude. Even the finance guy was cool. No pressure to buy stuff I did not need or want.

From the moment I met dave I knew he would do everything in his power to get me what I wanted. On our first meeting he pretty much explained everything two other dealerships couldn't. They weren't excited for me either, I haven't had a car in five years, and dave worked energetically for weeks to get me my ride. I'm more happy than ever and there is not another car I would have bought thanks to dave. If you want a Scion in Ohio, go see Dave Flathers at Motorcars. This review would be perfect if it wasnt for the inventory. Motorcars, give Dave some cars to sell. This is the second Scion purchase for my family. I would not go back to the dealer where I bought my xB. But when we wanted a tC we went straight to Dave.
We had to wait for our car to come in, but every step of the way Dave was updating us where the car was, he was going as far as to leave computer messages for us. The arrival time was right around the time we were to leave for vacation. Dave offered to deliver the car personally to make sure we got out vehicle in time for our vacation.

The staff was very friendly and the experience overall was very good. My only qualm was the extreme lack of available tCs. However, I understand the car was in high demand. There was a problem with the color of the car I ordered (they ordered the wrong color) but they reordered the car right away and gave me a nice rental to drive until it came in. Overall, my car ordering experience was very good and the only problems were due to a high demand on a great car. Thanks to Dave Flathers for being very accommodating.

I just bought a Scion tC from about the best salesperson (or should I say friend), Dave Flathers. From day one and speaking with Dave on the phone he was willing to go way out of his way for my sake. Once I met Dave in person everything came together. He was very receptive of all my questions, answering all of them leaving me with no chance to say I didn't have complete knowledge of the car I was buying. Most of all I loved the fact that he was down to earth making me feel comfortable and at ease. He was not pushy at all, just made sure I was happy to the fullest extent. I had to order my car and Dave kept me up to date on when it was going to arrive, when all the installation was going to be done, and when I could finally come in and pick up my car. Finally, this being the first new car I bought, I never went through the process. Dave guided me through and explained everything to me, making it one of the easiest purchases of my life. I will definitely go back to him!

Right from the first moments, Dave was all about my happiness with the Car- inside, outside,everything. When the financing seemed like it wasnt gonna work out, Dave again out of his way to work out other alternatives with that department and he got me the deal that I wanted!!! Purchasing my 2005 XB at Motorcars Scion was the most postive new-car buying experience I have ever had. My salesman, Derek Roberts, was more concerned with making me happy than with selling me a car. I purchase a new vehicle every 24-36 months, and how I'm treated by the dealer is usually the determining factor in what brand my next vehicle is. I can only hope that Derek is still at Motorcars in 2006 when I'm in the market again. I like my Scion alot, but like the service that Derek provided even more. What I appreciated most is that Derek didn't try to "get me into" a car that I could afford, but did not want. Not your typical car salesman. Thank you, Mr. Roberts. I hope Motorcars appreciates the fine job you do!

Great experience buying a Scion tc from Derek Roberts! Extremely helpful, informative and interested. Did not pressure me -- thank God! (I've walked out of other dealers for being pressured) -- but made sure I was always helped and well-served immediately. He took his time and I felt no "hurry up and buy" pressures, he answered all my questions, and so I knew what to expect from the car when I bought it. And it is a great car and a great value! And I was thrilled with the no-haggle nature of the purchase. All in all, continues the excellent service and help from the Motorcars group! (This is my fourth car in 20 years from them.)

It was a very good experience-we had test driven many many different cars, and even tried the Scion Classic dealer in Mentor, but when they didn't have anything on the lot to test drive, we drove the extra hour to Clevland Hts, and it was worth it. Nice people, comfortable showroom. Only bad thing was the access to drive on the freeway, it took a while to get to, you can't go over 25 or 35 MPH anywhere around there, and curvy country roads to drive on are out of the question, but that's the nature of the area.

I had a good experience at Motorcars Scion. Derek Roberts is a great guy and went out of his way to make sure I got the car I wanted. Derek even made sure I got a full tank of gas when I had to bring my tC back to the dealership for service (70 miles one way).

My review...Derek, the salesmen that sold me my car was very helpful and treated me with great respect. As for the finance situation...I had to go out of my way, and re-sign my contract three times. A security deposit was never mentioned; therefore I had to come up with additional money after I had already put $3000 down. If I could do it all over again, I would not have never bought this car from Toyota. I have been given the run around for the past two months. My grandma was my co-signer so to make a 64 year old woman go back to a dealership that is 45 minutes away, one way; I believe she would have a lot more to say than I do. I love my car, but I wish I was treated with a lot more respect, maybe when customers come to a dealer ship with money to spend on a car they would like, the dealership should go out of their way to take care of the customer...not the other way around.

Looked at and test drove many cars until I saw the Scion TC. What a car! What a value! To top it off the people at Motorcars Scion in Cleveland Heights were the best. Great people, Great service department and great treatment!!!

Derek Roberts was a very don to earth person who made buying a Scion a happy exeprience for me. The dealership made it easy for me to get financing and did all the work for me. I will surely tell others about my happy exeerience with Motorcars of Cleveland Heights.
