I first went to Olathe Scion looking for a Toyota, however the salesperson steered me to the xB. I decided that i wanted a black 5 speed xB after test driving one at another local dealer. I called my sales rep and he said he could get one (didn't have a black 5 speed in stock) for me either the next day (Sunday) or Monday. I gave him a short laundry list of the options that i wanted, and he assured me that it was no problem. Long story short, i finally got my vehicle late Monday, but had to wait almost a week and a half to have my options installed, because they didn't have them in stock. If i were buying again and had the time to invest, i would've looked at other area dealers and found the one that could put me in a complete vehicle at the time of purchase. I read the other reviews that mentioned Olathe being a more Toyota-oriented dealer and I agree whole-heartedly.

They were the first dealer that i visited. They only had one Scion inside, it was a modified tC. I originally went there to see if i could fit in the car, which I could, they were very friendly, but they were trying to sell to me constantly, when i would ask questions they would always be tied to buying it. They had a very small amount of scions, probably two xA's, three or four xB's, and about four tC's. I have noticed now that i have driven buy, that they have basically turned the Scion section into a Toyota section. They Facility was nice, but there was very little Scion stuff there. The staff knew a fair amount of information, but not everything. Based on the inventory and the amount of Scion stuff they had, I wouldn't recommend them, they are mainly geared towards Toyota.

I had a real bad experience here.
They had offered me about $1K more than two other dealers for my trade. When it became apparent that finding an xB for me was going to take longer than expected, they started stalling.
At one point they tried to get out of the deal by stating that Honda was going to run a "friends and family" promotion and they would have to reduce my trade in value.
They even ran my deposit (credit card) before they even placed an order. THEY SIMPLY WOULD NOT PLACE AN ORDER.
After about 5 weeks, I had enough. They apologized and said they would credit my deposit, but still haven't after a week. I had to file a dispute.

Overall experience with Olathe Scion was very good, had some problem with a big scratches on my passenger side windshield, which I didn't notice when I got the car and got it replaced within a week for free, they agreed that its their mistake and fixed it.
These are mainly toyota people selling scions but sales guy I dealed with David Betzer was pretty good to negotiate with, got good price for my trade-in. They didnt hassle me for buying TRD stuff and Security stuff.
I would definitely recommend this dealership.
