I actually live about 60 miles away from the closest dealership, Iowa City was the closest. I had only seen one tC and it was a used RS2 tC, so I loved the look but not the price. I called the dealership and asked them what all they had in stock. Although they only had tCs (1 silver man. and 1 black auto) I was happy knowing that they had a BSP. I talked to Shane Peden and the moment I shook hands with him I knew he was the salesman for me. He was very very very friendly. I didn't really have any questions because I had already done enough research but I know that he would have had all of the answers. I just recently sent him an update of my car it was like receiving an email from a buddy! He seemed eager to keep in contact and is sending any type of mods to the regional manager just so that they can know what customers are doing to their tCs.

The dealership is small, and I have yet to see ONE xA there. I got my tC from them, pretty good dealership, but not outstanding in any way. The local Honda dealership blows them out of the water in every single way. Had to replace my stereo with them...the '2 to 3 days' ended up to be about 5 weeks, but I dont know if that was their fault or Toyota's. The salesman I got, neglected to show me some features of the car (tilting headrest, and how the floormats carpet comes off to reveal a rubber surface)
I have no bones to pick with them, but there are better dealers out there.

This is the second car I have purchased from Toyota/Scion of Iowa City, and both expereinces have been good. Like all dealerships, they aim to sell cars, but compared to others without mentioning names(Honda..), they are a cut above. They have a very efficient service department, and if you are looking into a Scion, ask for "Captain" Kirk Deutsch. He didn't waste his time trying to "sell" me the car, because he could tell I was going to let the car sell itself. Buying a car can be a stressful experience, but sales people who have a realistic view of how buyers decide on a purchase, allow the buyer to focus on what they want, without the distraction of dealership pressure.
