| Does anyone know how hard is it to remove the stock radio of a 2005 Type S Corolla? I need to add a sirius radio to it. I would greatly appreciate it. I have searched all forums and have not found anything. |

I can't find anything on it really, but it shouldn't be hard. Just look for screws and start pulling. Just don't break anything.
This is the only thing I have found... and I quote.
Quote: to remove the radio there is a screw by the ac vents and the bottom plastic comes out then there is 4 screws holding the radio 7 mm.
Hope that helps. |

its pretty easy.
there is one central screw right behind the middle nob (the air conditioning circle nobs) you also have to pry out the plastic console under the shifter (the chome peice is not part of the plastic.). From there, pull the main center peice out carefully, look for screws from there and pry as you need too. I warn you though, it will leave small scratches from prying out the radio. ill post pics when i get home. |
