I love mine. I had the first Silverstars and loved them. But when I purchased the Ultras, I also got the high beams, and all I have to say is...WOW!
Easy install too, it took just a few minutes. At least for my tC. |

| Bought some at Schucks couple months ago. On sale plus a 20 buck rebate so I thought what the... They are an improvement but are certainly not HID's. I recall they claim 10% brighter which sounds about right, but I think the color temperature helps the most (closer to daylight). I really hate the xD's headlights on low - it's my biggest gripe about the car so far. Someday will find a way to mount fog/driving lights to fill in the near field. The absence of such on the aftermarket is gripe 2! |

I've used both Silverstars and CoolBlues in my tC and they are quite a difference... Got the CoolBlues on sale at WalMart once for $7 each. PepBoys is usually the place for Silverstar Ultras.
I think I'm going to drop some in my xD here soon... |

On my tC I actually did the 9005 - 9006 retrofit and put highbeam bulbs in the lowbeams... 1700 lumens vs 1000... it made a HUGE difference.
I'm thinking of snagging some Ultras for the D though. They're worth the money, especially if you're already replacing blubs. |

| I've been hearing that Silverstars don't last that long :? Like 6-8mos max or something like that. Because of that I bought a knock off brand for nearly half the price at Kragen :) That way if they burn out I won't feel bad of shelling out a bunch of money  |

| My mom always tells me to drive with my lights on, I say I do, it's just the parking lights though. I'm not wasting $50 bulbs during the day. Sorry. |

Had the same complaint here from my Fiance about her 06 altima. I put in the regular silverstars and they have helped light up the road quite a bit. The OEM low beams suck, we constantly would have drive with the high beams on because the lows were useless. |
