| does anybody know if there will be a header coming out anytime soon? ive already got a custom cat back and id like to just finish up the exhaust. thanks! |

| none that ive heard of. i have not really looked that hard though. i dont think youre going to see much of again off an aftermarket header, the stock one is pretty damn good, doesnt even have a cat on it. |

yeah, garage1217 did a pretty extensive write up on the entire xD exhaust system and said the header was already damn near perfectly fine and not worth replacing.
the only problematci area was towards the rear where it tapers down and gets really narrow.

btw, there are two o2 sensors, he missed it earlier, it is kinda hard to spot without the car being on a lift apparently. |

| yeah, when my car was up on the lift getting the catback, the stock header looks extremely good... basically leaving only room to improve on the finish, like nickel or chrome. after you throw a catback on there, you are probably only going to get gains if you can figure out a way to get the cats off. but then again, you might loose too much backpressure, as the cats didnt look all that restrictive either. |
