| im running DF210s and the tanabe strut brace and i love it.. now its time to tighten up the rear suspension, the car is still "pushing" in the corners. |

| ^ Rear sway should be before the front strut bar anyway. You may have even made the understeer worse. |

Upper strut bars will do NOTHING for under steer or over steer.
SWAY bars is what you want for suspension tuning, strut bars are 95% show and about 5% effective on a street car and probably less on a car that will never see the limit like the XB. |

| everyone has there own opinion's, personally i push my xb and i push it hard. Strut bar wasn't just made for show, it serves a purpose. I took mine threw a 15 miles canyon after i installed the strut bar. It makes more than 5% difference. its just a lot of people only have them for show. Never do they really use them for there purpose. |

I still say on a car like the Scion XB with little to no suspension on it will not show you any difference with a strut bar and here is the reason I say this.
Im a heavy autoXer, been driving FWD's hondas and FR BMW's for about 6 years now and I have never been able to feel or see any type of effect from a strut bar. If one is to install a strut bar I would really recommended that to be the LAST suspension mod installed, after you have your front and rear sway bars, coil overs and everything else you may wanna throw a strut bar on there, but be aware strut bars DO NOTHING for roll or any type of roll related movement, strut bars tie your struts for TWISTING. I really doubt you are getting anywhere near the limit of an XB and twisting the frame, besides there is a big butt engine bolted into your engine bay and its strut bar enough :)
Ive raced back to back in 2 different cars with a strut bar off and on and felt ZERO difference.
In theory; strut bars work but good luck getting the car to the point of which the bar is needed. |

| yeah with little to no suspension it isnt going to make crap for a difference. Your right, but with a nice setup it will for sure. If you gona buy one and you have stock suspension...= waste of money. |
