|
|
I've gotten the TRD CAI which comes with a vent grill/cover for the drivers side bumper vent (which the CAI breathes through) and i've been wanting to find a matching vent for the passenger side.
Well, now I've found these.. http://modeauto.com/m01-001-0011.html
Please take a look. Tell me, do you think these would let the CAI breath enough?
plus I was just wondering what you thought of the look, plus what color would you use.
I have a BSP xB2. They have different styles at this place, and they are made for the right and left sides. |

Are they? the ones I put the link in for said they are metal, and actually vent through.
I Just don't know if they vent enough.

They stick ON, BUT don't sound like stickers . It was just an Idea anyway. |

Ummmm... Stickers "stick ON", don't they?
Sorry, I had to. But yeah, they're pretty much stickers. They're just these things with double sided tape... I'm sure you could gouge a hole in your fender/hood/hatch/roof/door/bumper/wherever if you wanted to. But IMO, they're gawdy as heck. |

They are a bit, but like I said, it's my opinion. I'm not trying to sway you at all.
I'm with you on trying to match the TRD CAI grille for the other side... It's nice that the little vent is added. But on the other hand, it's a little lame that something is offered to make the car more symetrical.
A spendy but aesthetically pleasing option would be to scoop up the Grillcraft set. Or if it floats your boat, the billet set. |

| Not only do i think they will not flow enough i dont think they will fit in the area because they wont have anything to adhere to. i just pulled my plastic ones off so that at speed on the freeway more cool air will fill the wheelwells keeping the engine compartment cooler and yes give the factory intake more cooler air until my CAI arrives. |
