We just had the TEIN springs tested on our xB project...1st ones (not even Green yet :P ). They're not in production yet, but I have to say, they make a HUGE difference!!

They lower the car more than 2" and the ride is much better. For what the xB is, the xB now handles like a sporty car!

Keep your eyes open for their production!

Thats great and all, but they are pretty insignificant now. They were announced...over a year ago now? If not, really close to that. I think just about every other manufacturer already has some on the market.

Glad you are happy with them, though.

sounds to me like anything more than 2" on stock struts is going to destroy them...

not something i want to replace on my brand new car.

either way, good to know there is more product out there

It took them a year to get just to the testing stage on regular springs, and you're asking about coilovers?!?

Something tells me the prototypes they had originally sucked pretty bad or something. Its pretty silly Tanabe has had springs for nearly a year.

I agree, we' need coilovers! problem is coilover's come w/ a price and people just dont' seem like they're willing to spend the price for credible coilover's....

^ not on a car that is under $17k and is a daily driver... 90% of the peeps here are lowering for looks and need only a little performance out of it... i agree that coilovers are superior and a good set with sum quality R&D are going to be more costly...
