I have the upgraded Pioneer radio (big mistake). And I'm having issues all of a sudden with the radio working with my iPod. I reset my iPod to factory settings and installed my music again, but still is acting up. Plays one song then stops. Then stops all together and my iPod gets hung up, then I have to do a reset on the iPod.
Anyone else having issues? |

What version of the iPod do you have and what version of firmware are you running on it?

I was having that same problem with my aftermarket Pioneer. Just recently had an update though and so far hasn't done it again.

Yea...something is really messed up. I just updated my iPod to 1.1.3 and still having problems. Doesnt charge the battery, plays maybe two songs then locks up. I think the pioneer radio doesnt do a good job of disconnecting from the iPod. When you have it connected to your computer, you have to disconnect with either iTunes or the device manger. The Pioneer radio trashes the software on the iPod with a drastic disconnect.

ive been using my ipod touch in my xd since i bought it and havnt had any problems between it and the upgraded pioneer head unit. my only biscuit is that the ipod doesnt turn off when i turn the car off so the battery drains down. no software issues though.
