| Topic. For me, I think that black/silver/red are masculine colors while certain types of blue or feminine. I'm not sure if I think white xBs are masculine or feminine though. |

| It's not the color, it's the mods that can make a car look one way or the other. For example; Black Sand Pearl with pink wheels, pink brake calipers, and pink pinstripes would definitely look feminine. |

I personally think CF hood on Azure Pearl looks great. |

this is really a post? one may wager to say that if you are not driving a domestic v8, you might as well be driving a chick car.. i guess the great thing about most scion owners is that we tend to buck the trends, and are more original people, who really dont care what most others think.
i can see what you mean though as more often times then not, i will see a white jetta driving, and there is a set of jugs behind the wheel... but i dont really generalize the white jetta as being a chick car, till i see lame roxy stickers all over it that is.. |

It's not about the color so much-how come so many small (ahem) guys drive huge trucks.
I am not macho at all and that is why I could drive a powder pink mini-truck (it would have to have black accents though because I don't like pink much unless it's vibrant and set off by high contrast)
How come all those guys in their weak civics (not against hondas here) want to race everyone but the dude in the Vette just cruises along-inferiority is why someone would have to prove themselves.
Mike Tyson on the phone (scary as micky mouse) Mike Tyson in person after he read this-I am running....
I drove around a red cabrio (check my profile) and everyone assumed it was a chick car including the cops, I zipped all over the place as that car would handle like crazy and was pretty fast and I was glad that the boys in blue just assumed I borrowed my GFs weak little convertible.
I would love to have a new beetle in baby blue (with an HPA motorwerks drivetrain) for that same reason-really a sleeper.
If you trying to pick out a car to buy your girlfriend and that's why you are asking-yellow red or white seem to work. If you are trying to not look girly-well it's not about the car-it's about you. |

I think SW can look very masculine... With some nice black rims, dark tint, and then lowered... It looks very aggressive. Love it.
It would of been my color if I didn't get BSP me thinks. |

It's all about the way you mod it. At Battle of the Imports here in Maryland, there was a two tone black top / pink bottom tC with matching rims that actually looked pretty badass. Now, it was a deeper shade, not hot pink, but did not look feminine. I think it's all about who's driving it and what the design is. Now if they had hello kitty accessories everywhere, then yeah, it would have been a tad girly.
Personally, I don't do color except for my lighting. Nothing but black and silver, interior and exterior for a classic, refined look. |
