There is a problem. The tiny plastic covers that go around front wheels as well as below the engine have collapsed. The total number of them is 4 I guess. The ones below the engine had collapsed long ago, then, last year collapsed driver side wheel cover, and now the passenger side cover has given up. I was able to cut the remaining parts of them so the car can move without noise and a dealer said that’s not a problem, but this passenger side cover has revealed a water tank with hose and I am warring that this hose will be damaged by the snow in coming winter.

Do you guys have this problem?

What are the names, part numbers for these covers, and how much they would cost?
Thanks in advance for all the advice.

Hes talking about all that plastic flaring in the front fender liners and under the car between the bumper and radiator.

Me too, all that flamsy light weight plastic flaring is warping for me too the wheel wells the worse and no matter how I try to remount it, it just starts to warp and make a big mess. I too thought about removing it, but too worried about getting road crap where it does not belong.

The tank you speak of is the windshield washer fluid and hose. I think that would be ok and hey, its a common hose if needed to replace.

I think my sustained interstate driving is what causing it for me.

That is troubling and surprising considering it looks like your on stock suspension and wheels. Looks though like you get around looking at those hubcaps :)

You are fine,. If your hub caps have taken a beating, try some 15 inch trim rings. I cant believe how many people ask me about my wheels and I tell them they are oem with trim rings. Ha, ha, ha, ha.

LOL, thanks for your replies. I am sorry, I did not mean the wheels, my consern was about the hoses and the cabling supposed to be hidden by the plastic.

Yeah I was not referring to your wheels as it was what you had a problem with. As for what you are talking about it would bother me too. I would see if the Dealership can replace the parts as your car is SRP and an 06. I would think it;s still under warranty.

Thank you for your attention to my problem. Appreciate you suggestion to try the warranty. And I'm sorry I am confused with all of these terminology. Glad for any advice.

You have nothing to worry about. All those do is keep crap from getting into your engine compartment. Anyone who has bagged their car has removed these because of rubbing issuses when really low. I took my out...and just painted everything black.

Thank you. I feel better now. What did you do to all the windshield washer fluid hoses? Last year, all this space has been filled with a snow mess. Do you thik they will survive such an abuse.

I removed all that stuff...You see here in AZ it doesn't rain so no need for them. I've even removed the squirters and all the wipers.

LOL love AZ. 75mph limit and no gas stations what so ever.

PS, If there is no objection I'll remove the pics as everybody seems to understand the problem, but the formating make the screen too wide that requires the horisontal scrolling.

Nothing like having your screen set to 12x1600.

I love my window washers in VA. I had found some with amber lamps in them and been meaning to install them and hook to the parking light circuit.
