| i am in the process of putting my stocks back on. Somehow I blew both front struts in less than 20k miles. I did find the ride to be bumpy and they didn't work well (ride height and turning) with my 18s. I wish I would have just bought lowering springs. |

daily driving over the course of 20k miles? Not sure?? The only thing I had was 18 and 35 series tires. I kept the ride height at just above middle and never changed it due to rubbing.
Yes they are replaceable for $100-$150 each, but I think I am going to sell them and get out all together.....
before Ksport
after installing Ksport
I went back to stock yesterday and know have stock wheels back on it too. Maybe it's a good time to trade it in???? Who knows.... |

I think w/ just about most coilover set ups you'll feel noticeable road bumps more because its geared more towards performance...that has to be a given. Tires may also take into effect as well. The xB in general is a pretty noisy and touchy car...... however blowing your struts in 20k miles is pretty weird. Do you drive aggressively? or do you just live in an area full of pot holes?
I'd contact them and talk to Ksport about it. There's no reason why they would blow within 20k normal driving mileage. |

We just turned the car back in so they can look how the coilovers are holding up, everything was great. I'm told they should be released any day now. I will be meeting with Keith from Nukabe tomorrow so will get a better idea tomorrow.
I personally have never used Ksports to really comment about them. My friend had Ksports on his 240 and they were ok, best pro's about Ksports is the bang for the buck, I think for normal driving they should do just fine, I can't speak beyond that.
so comparing Ksports and Cusco is really not an option and I dont think they'd be comparable anytime soon. The one con w/ the Cusco's coilovers is because these aren't the top of the line track coilover's they rebound a bit slower then i'd like but I guess the tradeout is these are more comfortable. I had a really sweet spot when I had the car lowered, all corners felt great and I was really confident w/ the car. i've since raised the car up a bit for more practical driving on city streets and although more comfortable there's a tradeoff in suspension feel. |

| I have been running K sports on my 2nd gen for atleast 15K. I have had no issues with mine at all. I have heard of guys running the 1st gen and having issues. I drive mine pretty low daily and dont have any complaints on it. I drive mine back and forth to Las Vegas alot and think the ride is fine. Actually just made the trip again this weekend. |

| Read the other post that you asked about. You dont have it set up right at all. How did you get the ride height that you wanted? Was it by turning the spring perches up or down or by adjusting the bottom mounts? PM me if you want some help. I have a feeling they are completely wrong in the set up. |

| I'm running my K-Sport Coilovers at mid range, then 3 clicks to the softer side. It's generally okay, although depending on the road, you may bounce with the highway! |

| I think that the clicking that you hear is when you turn the wheels on way or the other, and the brake line is making contact with the shock. Notice how there is no where to attach the brake line after installing these shocks? It's just floppin' in the breeze, and banging against the shock when you turn in that direction. |

you have to be smart enough to own coilovers. There is a bracket that comes with the kit. It mounts the brake line to the strut. It amazes me that people will knock the product before they admit they installed them wrong. Above posts installed them wrong and then figured it out.
