trd_matrix wrote: Well i got them fix and still think that they are the worst investment i have done so far.Ive put over 25 thousand into my matrix and out of that 25 best investment i have done was my suspention(TEINS).Bottom line, my xb is more like a daily car so im not investing alot into it ,but $920 is the worst investment i have done so far.The only reason you deffending the product is cause you sell them wich is fine, but seem like there a few people with similar isues.I wouldn't sit there and blame everyone who have a problem with them and classify them like the dont know anything(IDIOTS).Like i said before they should provide better instructions, you as a costumer shouldn't have to buy a product and have to do a million search or joing forum asking questionon how to install them.Like the some guy here mention even a few was that built cars for SEMA had issues.Thats the product and not the custumer if you ask me....You bite me ill bite you back mengggg.....

Im sorry, but you say put over 25K into this other car and cant figure out some simple suspension issues. Im not here to argue over the internet. I helped you as much as I could on this issue. Time and time again and then you finally said that you had them installed wrong. Sounds like it still is not right. I am still willing to help you get them set up right. Like I have mentioned over and over. I love mine and have not had a single problem with them. I praised them when I had them on the tC as well and was not a dealer for them at all then.

well for all those considering ksports
i love mine too
very sexy sience u can customize drop however u want
and is pretty easy to install
i had no previous experience but common sense and time was all it took

point is me and im sure others with ksport dont want you to avoid making the investment because of one persons negative experience
you can take into consideration
but take in all the positive opions too

final words
ksport coilovers-well worth investment and make xb2 sexy

AEMotoring kspot is not a horrible product. The only issue is that they dont provide enought instructions.Reason im running my mouth is cause some people dont have any respect.Limitz help me out a bunch but didn't agree with his negative comment on how "people should be smart enought to own coilovers."Other mention other stuff like holding hand and so on..Not trying to direct this to limitz, but you were the only one that was helping me out. Then you go and say that, took it personal cause i was bugging you with PM.Its all good im man enought to apologize to who ever i offende, not my intentions.I think we should be helping each other out, respecting each other.AEMotoring whatever decision you go with, wether is springs or ksport.im pretty sure there a group of people here that can help you out if you run into some issues.

trd.....

You say over and over that you have done this and that to your matrix. But then you come on here and just that your K sports are horrible. How they ride like crap, and you think they sent you the wrong coilover. Then come to find out that you did not have them installed right. That is the point that I am making here. Maybe I should not have said "you have to be smart enough to own them". But you have done nothing but put them down. When in fact it is the install that needs to be put down. I will agree that the instructions are not the best at all. Crap over half the stuff I get from japan all the instructions are in japanese. So you have to stop and think about how it goes. Then play around till it is right. I need to pull all my wheels and stuff off so I can clean in there again. So I will try and take some pictures of mine and see if that will help you with it.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this thread, but my On-Call job has been killing me in overtime. My last day here is Friday, and I will start working on my suspension again next week.

Brandon at K-Sport received my shock, and issued a full credit for the blown/leaking shock. I will post again when I sort out the correct adjustments for my toaster. I will provide my settings at that time, and hopefully some re-sized photos of it ( when I learn how to reduce them).

Overall, I'm sure that I WILL be very happy with these, as this car handles like crazy, although a little stiff. Again, I will dial in the ride, and offer up some setting suggestions. Will also check out the brake line mounting issues..................

Oh, one last thing - If anyone has to send a shock back to K-Sport for warranty consideration, save yourself some time, call Brandon at K-Sport and get an RMA number BEFORE you send your shock in. Nobody told me that, and my shock sat around until I called them and claimed it. DOH!!!!

Ksports are OK.

They're not top of the line products but they are good for the price - I had one of the first sets released for the A33 Nissan Maxima. I dumped the car when i had them on there and the car handled like a dream when I finally got it dialed. I ended up blowing my axles and transmission but that was not the coilovers fault! It was my fault for slamming it too low.

Here's a picture:

I drove about 25,000 miles on the coilovers through Spritied driving and normal daily driving. They performed excellently. I have seen other users have problems with them but it seems as though they didn't know how to tune them.

I myself have a knack for mechanics although I'm not a professional - I do 99% of my own auto work.

I support Ksport and I'm going to use some Ksport products on my car even though I'm on air suspension - but that's a secret hahaha.

I love my K Sports:

I've had them for 11 months and haven't had an issue. As mentioned previously, you're gonna blow the struts if you adjust the ride height with the spring. During installation this was originally done by my friend and myself, I later fixed it.
