I own a 2006 automatic, and am trying to remove the center console to install lights. unfortunately, the instructions that came with the lights are for the xB manual. I searched around the forums, but could not find a detailed thread.
Can anyone help me out? |

| there is a great step by step diy for this here on scion life. but to give you a quick answer, pull out the silver edge pieces on either side of the center console. (I use a flat head screw driver at the bottom first to get it started) then remove the hvac knobs on the right and left side. there are screws behind these to undo. then pull the whole console forward. |

I'm sorry, I meant the lower console. where the shifter is.
