|
|
so i was looking up stuff on the TC yesterday and noticed that Ptuning has a full header back or after spipe 3" turbo back exhaust system.
(after s-pipe back)
http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Desc.cfm?PartNo=PTPEXH1000&MakeCode=scion&ModelCode=tC&ModelYear=2005%2D2008%20w%2F%20Supercharger%20or%20Turbo&ModelDesc=tC
(header back includes spipe)
http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Desc.cfm?PartNo=PTPEXH1001&MakeCode=scion&ModelCode=tC&ModelYear=2005%2D2008%20w%2F%20Supercharger%20or%20Turbo&ModelDesc=tC
I know alot of ppl have bein wanting something to replace that fat resonator/cat to get a little more sound out of the XB2.
well so i emailed the guys at ptuning asking if they planed on making a set up like that for the xb2
reply...
"Hello,
We designed and produced the 3" turbo-back system for the tC because of the
high demand.
If we have the same high demand for the 2008+ xB exhaust, we definitely
would consider producing one.
If we can get commitments from 50+ customers, we can start prototyping."
so reason for this post
was going to try and see if there is a demand for it
so if you would really be interested in a set up like this
vote and reply
please |

| it would be great to have this kit but i would like it to just go right up to the axle that way we have the option to go with hks, trd, tanabe, etc tips as opposed to just tip that is provided. it may provide a slight amount of backpressure for those with the TRD but its so far down from the flow that it would make minimal difference |

| 3 inch? No thanks. Id much rather have them make me an exhaust that was less than 2.5 inches NA wise. Not to be mean or anything but you arent going to find the demand any time soon if at all. Good luck though! Ptuning is an Excellent company! |

| Yea well i know not going to be that big of demand for 3'' so if enough ppl would be interested in a like 2.25'' or 2.5'' replacement center from spipe to axle and leave some love that they would want it i can show ptuning the demand and they might make something |

| 2.5 spipe back would be your best bet. |

| I have the turbo-back for my tC and I will say, that you will not see any other exhaust come even close to the quality of the PTuning exhaust. Perfect welds, high grade stainless steel, thick butt Vband clamps (someone said they were about $80 a piece). |
