This may be a stupid question, but have you lowered it all the way? I only ask because I've seen an abundance of new owners ask questions that had very obvious answers if they had read the manual. I'm 6' tall, and found it far too low at the lowest position for my personal comfort/driving position.

the only way i have found to lower the seat was the arm on the right side that just lowers or raises the seat back..is there another way to get the front down?

wait youre talking about the passenger seat? in that case that cannot be adjusted for height unfortunately.

as for the driver seat there is a horizontal lever on the left hand side that can adjust for height. you just pump that up/down to adjust.

Pull the seat cover off & shave the foam.

I'm not trying to be a smart+++, that's the only quick easy solution I can think of, short of replacing the seat.

As a medically necessary adjustment, would new seat tracks be tax deductible as a medical expense?

Out -of-pocket medical expenses above 7.5% of your adjusted gross income are tax deductible on your 1040 form. I know insurance won't cover it, but this tax deduction is dollar for dollar, as long as you have enough unreimbursed medical expenses to top 7.5% of you annual income. It doesn't pay for the expense of new tracks, but at least it lets you tax deduct it. If you're in a 33% tax bracket, that's like the gov't paying for a third of the cost.

The above mentioned information should not be considered tax advise. Please see your accountant or qualified tax preparer for details specific to your individual case. :P

Are you dropped? If not, do you plan on it, and how much/which springs?

What wheels are you looking at? I can see what they have available and make a recommendation from there.

Send me a PM with all the details you currently have; I usually handle individual wheel & tire fitment questions through PM, so we don't clog up the various threads with personal stuff.

From what I've been able to research, the 18x7.5 Cypher wheels are available in a +42 and +48 offset. Get +42 with the 225/40-18 tires.

Tanabe NF210 or DF210 springs? Both will work with the tire & wheel set-up, I'm just curious which drop you like.

what about the company that put in your hand controls? they should be able to find some way to make an adjustment for you and something that would be legal and safe.... I would check with them before I just started cutting stuff...... also look into an aftermarket see that is not as thick and has more adjustments
