|
|
| My car got broken into like a week ago. The center console was ripped off. I put it back together, but, found out I can't control the direction of air flow. When I turn on the ac, no air comes out of the two front vents near the radio. The only cables I found were for hot or cold air. Isn't there supposed to be more cables? Help! |

| No, that looks right... did you make sure you put the knobs on the right posts? |

I guess I just dont really understand your question... The three plugs that I circled are the three for the HVAC controls.

| I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a cable or wire. I can't seem to control where the air comes out. |

The air flow is controlled by two cables in a housing like the brake cables on a bicycle. The end of one cable is clamped onto the back of the defroster damper control , the other is clamped to the back of the air mix damper control (Left knob and right slider switch for circulating/recirculating air).
check out pp 55-25 - 55-27 of the manual.

Got it! Thanks man! I made it more complicated than it should. I expected more than two cables to control air flow and air temp. |

Here is a link to the factory service manual. It will show which cable does the temp and which one controls the blend doors. Good luck straightening it out and sorry that someone did that to your box.
