| I want the 2 inch lowering springs for my XB, just wonder where would be the best place to get it done, and which ones to buy. I typically do all the wrenching on my own but I'm kinda tentative to do this installation. Any links to "how to install lowering springs" or something like that would help. Obviously I don't want to spend a lot of money on the springs and install... any ideas?? And also if you got your XB lowered, how much did you pay for springs and install??? Thanks :-) |

trust me, its easy! we did it in my garage in an hour and 45 minutes with just a floor jack and hand tools. dont be nervous. the rear is just one bolt on each side. |

| Ok I am confident to install them myself after checking that form fztcar posted.... but which springs should I get? I don't want to spend like a poop ton of money but don't want POS springs either.... Suggestions?? |

Just shop around and find the best deal on the drop you want. Just make sure you get the right springs the first time. Keep in mind the quality of the roads you ride on, how often you have rear passengers and the fact that they sag over time. You may not like being too low. I'd suggest a mild drop like Tein H Techs. They start out at 1" drop and get lower with time. You can usually find them for around 200 bucks a set. Good luck and happy hunting.
Check my profile picks with them installed with 15s on to get an idea how they will look. |

| if you really want 2" , go for tein Stechs or tanabe df210. those are by far the two most popular choices for that range of drop. |

| i have tein s-techs. its not a 2 inch drop, its 1.7 inches in the front and 1.5 inches in the rear. but it still looks really good. i got mine on ebay for $176 a set. |

Tein S-Tech provides a great looking drop while not going so low you scrape on stuff or need your alignment checked out.
got my set for $155 shipped on ebay. installed the same day i put the wheels on. i LOVE the drop. It's perfect to where I can still haul a load of stuff too. |

i had the s-tech springs.
i went with them because it dropped the front more then the rear. |

| cool thats what i had on my car before i got coils and if anything were to happen and i didnt have the coils any more i would go back to dfs in a heart beat |
