so i live in Puerto Rico ( for those who dont know its a tropical island in the caribbean)
and here rains every weeks or sometimes everyday ,so its the TRD cold air safe to use ????in my previous car i have the AEM cai without any problem at all but since the TRD have that bumper vent is kind of scary when rains so please give your opinion :pray: |

| why would trd design something that only works in good weather? Come on now. But if something were to be going wrong, get that checked out ASAP |

| I live in NY and we just had a couple of days of bad rain. My xb has the TRD intake and is Lowered on Tanabe Springs. Def no problem Driveing in the rain, I tryed not to hit any puddles but cant avoid all of them. |

| just buy the injen hydroshield...it goes over the filter which repells water.. |

On the 08-Up xB2's the TRD intakes is a RAM-Air Style. Filter is flat and Square and sit's in a ram are box with the TRD bumper Vent.
If he was to run the AEM, Fujita, Injen, Tenzo-R ect he would beable to use the Hydroshield.

umm...not even close, no cone filter here
The TRD puts an airbox in the fender which contains the filter
the intake for the air is on the top of the bucket, this inlet sits *above* the vent opening on the bumper. You're not going to need to really sweat water |

Accords to Sparks Toyota the TRD intake has a built-in bypass valve. |

| Unless you happen to fully submerge that inlet part to the point where the intake makes full vacuum with a volume of water, I'd say you are fine. |
