why would trd design something that only works in good weather? Come on now. But if something were to be going wrong, get that checked out ASAP

On the 08-Up xB2's the TRD intakes is a RAM-Air Style. Filter is flat and Square and sit's in a ram are box with the TRD bumper Vent.

If he was to run the AEM, Fujita, Injen, Tenzo-R ect he would beable to use the Hydroshield.

from what i understand, the trd intake is a rebadged AEM intake. it would seem natural that the AEM bypass valve would fit on the trd intake then.

umm...not even close, no cone filter here

The TRD puts an airbox in the fender which contains the filter

the intake for the air is on the top of the bucket, this inlet sits *above* the vent opening on the bumper. You're not going to need to really sweat water

Accords to Sparks Toyota the TRD intake has a built-in bypass valve.

Unless you happen to fully submerge that inlet part to the point where the intake makes full vacuum with a volume of water, I'd say you are fine.
