Ok so I have been hearing everyone talk about the receiver and how that fin that you can order doesnt cover it up. I'm just wondering...where is your receiever at? I got my car at Longo and it came with a reciever in it. Heres a pic.

I'm not even sure what I'm looking at. Do you have XM Radio or Sirius?
Can you take a closer picture of what you have in your window?
I'm pretty sure the thing people are talking about covering up with a fin is the radio antenna.
The receiver (aka. "tuner") is a small silver box that should go under your seat.

| My Mom has Sirius in her Prius, and that's exactly what her receiver looks like. |

| My dealer-installed XM satellite radio receiver is installed below the front passenger seat; the radio is completely integrated into the factory radio with nothing different showing; and the antenna is a black piece about the size of a matchbook that is attached to the roof about an inch from the top edge of the rear hatch. I have nothing that is attached to the windshield like in your picture. |

Can you still post a better picture, I really would like to get a closer look.

| I think what you have is an aftermarket sat. radio add on. The Toyota/Scion unit (although pricey) hides behind the dash, and the antenna is a very small unit (as with the XM, about the size of a match box) mounts on the roof near the radio antenna. |

Sorry, I meant under the seat, not behind the dash, but still, nothing on my windshield |

| Does that block your vision at all while driving? That is one ugly arse aftermarket piece of equipment. Longo too cheap to get the small bug like receiver instead? |

| You don't notice that box at all in my Mom's Prius either. It isn't that enormous. |

The picture is kinda crap but you get the idea. I took it as night was falling and with my cell phone no less. This is the factory (Toyota/Scion) antenna for satellite radio. I see a lot of people calling it a "receiver" however that is incorrect, the receiver/tuner is the picture I posted earlier and is hidden away under a seat. I would be interested to know what you paid for the unit you have, who makes it, etc.. so that in the future people at least know there are two options for satellite radio. |
