|
|
So yesterday I bought a new xB - absolutely love it. However, when I was trying to sleep last night, the alarm went off. After I stopped it, it kept going off every 30 minutes to an hour. I called the dealership & they told me to look at the manual for the Guardian (which it turns out, they didn't give me). They're saying I should turn down the sensitivity following the instructions in the manual... since I don't seem to have it, I was wondering if one of you can help me out, or if you might think the problem might be something else.
Thanks for any & all help... hopefully this car won't have more problems so that I'll be sticking around here @ ScionLife. |

I would love to help, but I dont have the alarm option.
I was under the impression that the option alarm doesn't have a shock sensor, only window breakage sensors... |

| It must be an after market alarm, Toyota's option is the RS3200. Take it back to the dealership and have em fix it. |

| most toyotas that i've seen have a shock sensor mounted around the pedal area or above the kick panel... get down and look around for a small black box with a phillips head screw on it for shock sensor adjustment turn it back slightly and test |
