| I have a 05 xB, I’ve been using my factory radio till this weekend when I decided that the iPod radio transmitter just couldn’t cut it anymore and wanted a direct way to hook up my iPod. I bought a Pioneer CD player and installed it with Scosche TA02 Harness and SCN2056 Kit. Love the lay out and everything but noticed that my radio stations do not come in half as good. Checked the antenna hook up, tried grounding it with the wire out of the harness and on the metal right behind the radio housing. Took it back traded for another one, hooked it up in the parking lot, sounded good, then started the car and noticed it was weak on the stations again, it almost seems like it has a small fade in and out of the signal also. I’m sure someone on here as always can tell me how to fix this no problem. Thanks in advance for your help, its driving me crazy. :nails: |

Basically xB's have a built in amplifier for the antenna that needs to be powered, above link has all the info you need. I used the power antenna lead from my aftermarket deck to power the antenna amp. |
