I just saw an RS1.0 xD in our garage at work that was lowered with the black 18" TRD wheels on it. I'm guessing they were just TRD springs... but still looked good.
I've actually contemplated trading for an xD at some point - though let it be known I'm a LONG ways from pulling that trigger. :)
This particular combination looked really good. Still had dealer stickers and plate frame though. |

| yeah XDs are nice too plus, they said it doesnt have that speed cut at 127 and could go up to 142 mph, and 4th gear revvs to about 8K if i remembered it right... lol if that info is correct and confirmed, that would be awesome performance wise |

| Ya, I think it would be a fun little car to autox. Keep it in a stock class (HS, I would hope) and throw some R compounds on it. :) |

| I actually have test driven an auto one (with the g/f). Was pretty impressed. I'd go test drive a 5spd if I could afford to be in the market for a car right now. |

I actually went in to the dealeship with intentions of trading in the tC for the RS1. The deal fell apart when they only offered me 9,000 for the tC. I was looking for 11,500
New plan is to pay the tC off in a year and a half, and get a used RS1, or possibly a RS2. :nails: |

| Ya, I'm waiting on a little more value to build in my tC. I just feel that the dealer will shaft me. Then we'll see... xD, Mazda3, Mini, Toyobaru... who knows. |

| Redline is at about 6200 =P It's quite a peppy car. We're beating the crap out of it and getting 30+ mpg still! |

| the xD seems to be such a good platform for performance, i just dont understand why the aftermarket is so weak... but its hopefully only a matter of time. |

| Honestly, I don't know why either. My assumption is that a lot of the early buyers where just mpg hogs and sound/wheel people. I'm still upset we lost out on the intake manifold and exhaust set up from that one company :( |
