|
I know the stock rotors have the bolt holes that make it easier to get them off.
Would the http://www.autozone.com/R,2229788/vehicleId,2974201/initialAction,partProductDetail/store,2570/partType,00855/shopping/partProductDetail.htm from auto zone work fine as basic stock rotors even without those bolt holes?
Where could I get those holes put in if they are needed?
I just want a basic replacement rotor, nothing fancy, can't afford it, and from a local source (60068)
thanks |

From a local source? Why local?
I got these and have zero complaints:

That's the rear, just like you linked... but the front is also very comparable. The hub is painted black so they're a bit less likely to show as much rust as many of the generics from the auto stores. |

| Oh, those holes are needed. My rotors were rust-welded to the hub, and I live in SoCal. Ack would have had to soak his whole hub in a bucket of PB Blaster. |

| The Dezod ones have the holes, if I recall... and I definitely had to use them when I was taking one or two of my OEM ones off. |

I'd never cheap out on brake components. Not to sound cliche, but your life is riding on them. The cheap chinese rotors will warp in no time and you'll be right back where you started. |
