|
|
So frozone's back again. two part question
1. Whats a nice little sub i can just plug in somehow to my stock stereo system. i have just basic HU. or maybe a nice one i can find used. i dont have an amp so idk if thats a problem.
2. I might change all the speakers out of the car to something a bit better cause mine like to bottom out and rattle the driver door. whats a decent brand? nothing top of line just better than stock?
Thanks
If i can DIY this stuff it would be easier. |

Well, If you are not looking to replace your head unit and you would like to add a sub you will need a line out converter, to convert the speaker out put of the deck to a Rca output.
Yes you will need a amp for the sub.
And your speakers may not be the problem with your sound, Often puting in a aftermarket deck will improve sound quality greatly.
Perhaps you should us the search function there are tons of articles on line out converters, and decks vs new speakers. |

| infinity basslink is a great basic option that you can find on ebay for pretty cheap. i had one in my xa and it sounded very clean and hit decent for what it is. plus it doesn't take up a lot of room. i know they sell one now with a built in 4 channel amp as well in case you want to amp up your door speakers later. |
