ok im not a very slow person and i pick up most things i see involving cars after about 30 minutes of research. but one thing i can not get for the life of me is wheels involving spacers, offset, staggered wheels and all that other fancy stuff is there like a wheels for dummies page online anywhere? ive looked at kaeons wheel tips but i still have no idea what im doing. i know the tc threads are 5 X 100 but thats all i know as far as wheels go.
can someone help me please |

Offset:

OEM wheels are +45 offset. So the mounting surface of the wheel is 45mm outward of the center of the wheel. If you want your wheels pushed out toward the outside of the car more, you would get a lower offset (+40 or +35). |

its also dependent on the width....
i.e. a 7" wide +45 will stick out 43.9 mm from the hub where as a 9" wide +45 will stick out 69.3 mm from the hub. so you need to factor both the width and the offset into the equation. you can use my fitment thread in the sticky to help you. |
