I just wanted to take a moment to explain how horrible of an experience I had with shear comfort LTD. (seat cover manufacturers) I know most people on this site wouldn't ever dream of using an interior company such as them but I've got limited funds and really wanted something spectacular for my car. I'm hoping that this might deter anyone else from ever purchasing from them in the future.
Anyhow, I ordered from them last year well before thanksgiving and received seat covers the day before Christmas that didn't fit my car. I tried getting a refund. Theres a no refund or return policy for custom orders so they told me too bad so sad. I disputed the process with my visa, got a letter from a professional upholstery specialist (that was horrified at the craftsmanship) and went back and forth with visa and Shear Comfort, and after SEVEN MONTHS I finally was told tough, we can't help you. If you don't like it sue them directly.
I'm now left with seat covers that don't fit my car at all since they are made in a standard way (my 08 xb seats you cant wrap the elastic bands around to fix the covers to the seat front or back) , the covers are too big and the air bag slots are definitely not safe. I have covers that are too big, and constantly fall off the seats. The customer service person argued that the air bag cut outs ARE safe yet they specifically have a disclaimer on the site and receipt that says they are not liable for any problems caused by the covers due to air bags.
This was an awful experience for me and it ended up costing me over $300 for covers that are poor quality and don't fit my car. If anyone is tempted, be assured that your better off going to wal-mart and customizing those to suit your tastes or working with the materials and taking the time to make your own. I spent 14+ hours hand sewing an upholstery cover for each one of my head rests and they came out wonderful, I know it can be done its just ALOT of hard work. |

| that reallys sucks. you should have gone with the clazzio covers. a little bit more than $300 but a really safe buy as far as quality and fit and finish are concerned. |
