can you just jack up the car, and compress the rear springs with springs compressor then pull it out? or do you need to unbolt the shocks too? i dont think it need to unbolt the shock but i dont know

unbolt the bottom nuts on the shocks to get the springs out of there its a simple 10 minute or less job

You need to jack the rear high off the ground and support the frame, not the wheels or swing bar. You then need to remove the wheels and rear nut that holds the shocks on and slide those aside while you have a jack on the swing bar. Lower the swing bar and the springs pop out. Put the new springs in place, jack up the swing bar til you can rebolt the shocks.

no compressor needed. you don't even need to take off the wheels. jack the rear up. as you're jacking it up, once there is enough room under the car for you to remove the 17mm bolt at the bottom of each shock, get under there and remove it. pull the bottom of the shocks off of the support. now, keep jacking until you hear the springs fall out. install new springs and reverse the process.

The rear bar that holds the wheels needs to swing out enough for you to remove them.
