Do you think my suspension or axel got messed up?
Driving home I noticed a "flat tire" noise, pulled over to notice none of tires were flat. Apparently my AEM Cold Air Intake broke. (The lowest piece that bolts onto the frame of the car broke off, and left a huge whole in the tube)
The best way to remove it from the engine compartment was through the front driver side, by removing the wheel. (I have a fab bumper, pain to put on and off)
THE ISSUE: So I pulled over, jacked up the car, the jack gave and my car slammed onto the ground, (front driverside) after I removed the wheel. Jacked the car back up, ripped the cold air intake out and threw the wheel back on.
THE DAMAGE: My brand new Fab bumper, previously replaced, is broken again. (The left side that bolts onto the car) (The right side was broken)
The flat metal piece behind the rotor bent, and the driver side front body panel is dented/distorted?
MY QUESTION: What should I ask the mechanic when I take it?
What things should I get checked out in the wheel well/axel?
Thank you for all your help! |

My main concern would be that you replace the filter so you are not sucking in unfiltered air into the engine.
The plate behind the rotor is a dust/splash shield, nothing important.
I think the suspension and axle are ok, Just need some body work on the door and see if they can use fiber glass path or repair on the bumper. |

just remove the lower section of the CAI and slap the filter on the end of whats left.
turn the CAI into a SR |
