so i filled my tank a few days ago
84.3 miles later my needle is still above full...
i drive all rural areas so no major stopping but not as well flowing as the highway
is this strange or am i just buggin out |

it will go down super low fast
i've gotten 120 before its hit F but then will only get 370 on a tank. |

not in vegas man its too hot to roll the windows, i rather spend 5 bucks more for a/c every time i fill my tank |

usually i got 50 miles until the needle starts to move.
i get 340 miles w/ a full tank |

| I'm not sure how the needle works exactly, but it seems that it just moves very slowly to start off, then picks up speed as the tank drains.... otherwise you'd get like 1000 miles a tank. |

| yup I get about 100 miles before the needle even moves if i top off the tank a little. But the farthest i've gone is a bit 400 miles on one tank. Doubt you'll get 500 in a rural area. |

| You are getting that because you are starting to fill past the capacity... eg topping off after your pump has stopped. Try going to lowest to e and fill up only 14 gallons and calculate from there. |

| Consider that the top of the tank is wider than the bottom, it is tapered to allow the fuel to flow to the fitting. So yes, the tank will take longer to register on the gauge and speed up as the tank empties. I get about 80 before my needle drops below the "F" marker. |
