| Hey everybdy, so today i just got my new progress springs installed. However, once i left the drive way and drove for about 30 seconds, i hear a loud clunk, almost like something dropped... I looked back but i didn't see anything. Are springs supposed to make a loud clunk once installed for it to settle in?? I only heard this clunk once... HELP anybody have any ideas why? |

make sure everything is connected. i.e. sway bar end links. I fixed a guys botched drop job. He said he heard a loud clunk then when he would turn sharply there would be a loud grinding noise. Turns out he didnt put the nut back on his passenger side end link, it fell out, hit the tire and got jammed into the wheel well. The grinding noise was from the tire hitting the now protruding endlink bolt.
That wasnt even half of what he did wrong on his car, but I digress...
double check everything. |
