I am about to pick up my new xb2 on Tuesday and is it just me or what the hell is up with the cup holders? I love the car all around but I haven't heard anyone on here talk about how small the cup holders are? Or am I the only giant big gulp soda guzzlin fool on here! Ok dont answer that part , but really Scion expecting me to just drink out of those small water bottles and yes I know there is a bigger bottle holder down by the door but what about that late night Del Taco run?
Are there any cool aftermarket parts that can help me out ? And please dont chime in with the 1970's trucker window plastic cup holder thingy that hangs on the window. lol
What do you guy's think? |

Same in the tc, small cup holders. Here's the deal though, almost every place you go now has a cup made to fit in the cupholder. even most larges have a stagger to them...

That would be the day when you see a staggered 40 bottle so it'll fit in your cup holder.
Surprised they don't have them in Wyoming... |

Don't complain. Some of the less fortunate don't have the luxury of a Del Taco anymore. Where I was staying up in Michigan JUST got its first Del Taco's this year. Than bam... I move down to Orlando for work, and get this, no more Del Taco. Taco Bell just isn't the same. |

Taco bell sucks.. I agree. There is nothing mexican about it. I know, my new gal is from NJ and she is lovin all this fast food out here. I had white castle when I was out there and barely made it home. ha ha
40's in the door, thats great... Take me drunk I'm home , osifer. |

The easy redneck fix is to get ONE super-giant cup from Burger King or Taco Bell and leave it in the car, and then just pour your Big Gulp into it.
...I didn't say sanitary. I said "easy."
Would you really WANT a gigantic cup holder, anyway? How the hell would you keep NORMAL-sized beverages from rolling all over the place? |

Some of the Toyotas have spring loaded, removable cupholder splitters that work pretty well. You can pull it out or put down the sides for big drinks or if you need to store something temporarily there, and spring out the sides for various sizes of drinks. THAT is what they really needed to do to utilize this space better. Not EVERY big cup has a staggered bottom to it, and as far as I sit up, it's hard to pull those things out of the door cup holders.
Shouldn't be drinking big sodas anyhow, but I do love the big ICEEs and Slushies for long road trips. I can't use a sleeve with these little cup holders.
But I'm very spoiled by the Toyota line up. I was shocked to find I didn't have two car chargers in my xB. I'm still disgusted about it. But I loves my xB enough to forgive it. |

Already there. The tape on the back of that thing is crap. I just throw it into the center console to keep all the wires for everything out of the way. :P |
