I got those kits from Umnitza as well and LOVE them. Both sets slim digital balaastes. 50W 6K lows and 35W 3K set for the fogs.
I was so close to mounting the low beam ballasts where you did, but decided not to mount them just yet and think about it. They wouldn't be mounted there if they were a factory option, so I didn't want to have it so obvious than an aftermarket HID kit was installed.
For the mean time, I ran the wires off the bulb into the very inner area of the fenders. Looks like you did the same thing also.
I plan on taking off the bumper and grill to do stealth mounting soon.
I too am totally happy with the Umnitza kits. The guy's shop is like 10 minutes from my house and the guy is totally cool. They do custom angel eyes as well. |

| wow the cut off line on these XB projectors are not very crisp. Do you get people flashing you thinking that you have your high beams on? |

I get people flashing me because of my 6000k HID fogs more than I ever did with the headlights lol Really though, there isn't too much light that makes it by the cut off, it's just a photo's never gonna capture it as it REALLY is.
I wish my four ballasts were that small, they wouldn't have been such a pain to mount in the bumper hahaha |

no, no ones flashed me yet. i been wanting to get rid of that extra 'glare', or squirrel finders, above the cut off line. ive seen a couple topics about how its done, but just never really had the time to do it :eyebrow: |

this is strange, but that is actually kinda normal. i recently put on some 08 projector headlights on my tc, and currently they are using the proper size halogen bulbs, and i noticed pulling up to a garage, that even using stock halogen bulbs, they have ghost spots above the cut-off, seemed strange to me, but i guess that means it isn't much of a difference when i put some HID's on. |

| You're right. Halogen bulbs have the same pattern in those projectors. There is still visible light above the cutoff. I guess with the HIDs it's a little brighter up there, but no different shape-wise. |

| technically if there was no light above that cut off you wouldn't be able to read street signs very well ;) |
