I was just curious...
What is it about the stock pedestal spoiler that everybody be hatin on so much...it seems like a lot of people don't like them...just wondering why...
and what other spoilers seem to be the better looking ones....aside from the simple lip spoiler?
I don't know where this topic will go...it was just a thought... |

| One thing is that FWD cars don't need a spoiler. Also it doesn't look that great anyways. The lip one makes the car look cleaner. |

I'm with you Crimson! I've got the pedestal spoiler and really like it. It's not too crazy like CF spoilers, but it's also not a tiny almost non-existent nub on the rear either.
Like I said in another post, I personally don't like tC's without at least a pedestal spoiler because I think they look like the rear end of a curvy fat chick without a spoiler. |

| Agreed with chase and crimson.... I think the pedestal spoiler makes the TC look so much better. Of course everyone has there own opinion, so let people feel how they want. Everyone has different taste. Personally my favorite spoiler for the TC is the Kaminari one. I think that spoiler is sick, but for the price of it, they can keep it up. Ill stay with my OEM pedestal spoiler. Thank you very much. :P |

| Yeah when I was shopping for my tC, having the pedestal spoiler and 18' rims were a MUST. Luckily I also got the OEM fogs too. |

| Sorry but the OEM 'lip' is retarded looking IMO. Like wtf is the point of it? Doesn't even look cool or nice. |

| The pedestal spoiler is ugly, the oem fogs is ugly and those oem rims are just a waste of money. |

Haha thanks bro. If all that is sooooo ugly, why would you get a tC? They're all so little additions to the ride that maybe it's the ride you think is ugly.
The rims look a million times better than those lego looking rims. At least I didn't have to pay extra for mine. |

| I also have the optional fog lights, 18 inch EMX Super7Spoke Rims, Pedestal Spoiler, or Ground Effects whatever you want to call it. Ill take a picture of my TC and my Fiance's sisters TC and you tell me whats better. We both own a CSM TC. Hers is without the fogs, 18 inch rims, spoiler(She has nothing), and mine has all of that. And yall be the judge on what looks better. :D |

| 2007 CSM Tc, I bought it from Girard Toyota in New London, CT.. It was the showroom car with 0 miles on it, spinning on this stand. I fell in love with it. Nothing better then getting a car that came straight off a truck with no mileage and buying the showroom car. Im happy with the TC, but wish I kept my VR4. Im saving up for a C5 vette now. Thats my dream car. I love vettes. Hopefully in a couple years at the most, I will have one. |

| yea everyone hates them because it is completely unnecessary and makes the car look ugly. I agree the car needs something in the back, but the pedestal spoiler just ain't it. |

| I agree with chase, crimson and killa spice the pedestal spoiler takes away the round look to the hatch. I dont really like cars w/ out a spoiler. Also the 18's look tite, but the price is 2 high for me 4 some factory rims... The oem fogs give the tC there unique look at night. |

well if your gonna get a spoiler then get something that FITS the car! the ped spoiler is plain ugly and serves no purpose! its too girly for me personally, honestly its either a lip spoiler like my old M3 style
or FTW
