I have been researching the crap out of springs...looked at TONS of pics...read lots of reviews and checked out tons of sites for prices. Here's what I have concluded:
I am going to get the Tokico Struts/Shocks w/ the KSport GT Lowering Springs. They are a 2" Front 1.75" Rear drop which I think will be the best of both worlds (performance and looks). This car is my daily driver and I do NOT race it in any way. I just want something that will make it more "sporty" on interstate ramps and twisty roads and also reduce the hideous wheel gap. I don't want to go as low as the Tein S-Techs so those are out of the question for me. I can get the 4 Tokicos for $345 and the KSports for $135 making a total of $480 for everything shipped. I believe this is a pretty damn good deal for 4 struts and springs.
My question is simply..What do you all think? This a good setup? Any other recommendations? And I would really appreciate a reason with and other recommendations (like why you would go w/ those over the KSports).
FINALLY....Does anyone have any pics of the KSPORT springs (not coilovers) on stock 17's?
Thanks guys! |

H&R and Tokicos are also popular and rated pretty well. A similar drop to the Ksports would be the H&R Race springs which is 2.0 Front, 1.6 Rear.
I think the drop would look pretty good though with Ksports being that the rear is dropped a little more. |

| save up a couple hundred more dollars and invest in some used coilovers.. ride height adjustable, as well as dampening, and springs stiffness, and camber(if you get camber plates) |

| I do not have any need for being able to adjust my suspension so coilovers would be a waste of money for me......plus I refuse to put used suspension components on my car which would probably be older than my car itself (I have a 2008). |

| I just did TRD springs/shocks and rear sway and it handles amazing now and I think it looks really good now too. IMO dropping too much looks weird on the tC |

| Tucking on our stock wheels imo doesn't look good but with the setup you have, you should have a clean gap that isn't too high or low. |

I was also lookin at the tokico HP struts but i was gonna combo it with the tokico springs and my second choice was the TRD struts and springs with hotchkis front and rear sway bar. Instead of power i wanted to go for handling first as well.
Heres a link with tokico hp struts and vogland lowering springs.
