Getting a CF lip kit made...what do you think?

Anyway I recently got a contact who has quite a bit to offer in terms of CF products for the tC. I have really been interested in getting a CF RS1 lip kit but I only want the front and rear lips to be CF. I want the side skirts as is and painted to match. But the only way I can find this is 2 rear caps for the rear lip which I don't want. I want the 1 piece rear RS1 lip. I know that Bbist has offered this product in the past but apparently they no longer do. Anyway I spoke with this contact to see if he could fabricate what I am looking for and this is the email that he sent:

"Hi Josh, sorry for the delay reply, i talked with the composites enginneer and him told me about the option to develop the RS1 lip kit(make molds) , this would be the deal , you could send us your complete lip kit, and we will ship you a new one CARBON FIBER lip kit for just the 50% of the total cost."

Now I am not quite sure what he means by 50% of the total cost and I have sent him another email so that he could clarify the cost for me. He speaks of making molds and from my understanding that is extremely expensive. I would imagine that if he is gonna go to the extreme of making the molds that he would also start to offer this as a product of his. I am not 100% what the deal is yet but if there is an option to reduce the cost based on a group buy would anyone else be interested? Do you think that this is something that sounds worth it?

Yeah but I don't want a 4 piece CF kit just front and rear and the rear one they have is a 2 piece. I want a 1 piece.

I would've just asked him to do a CF rear peice for me if I was you. Send him your rear and ask to have it wrapped in CF.

If he wants to charge you half the cost of the process of molding you will be way in the hole just for a one peice rear lip.

That would be nice though, thats a main reason why I decided not to go with the RS1 lip kit was because the end caps look so cheap. Maybe I will ask RacingSolution if he can do up a 1 peice?

Racing Solution is goign to be making a 1 piece in CF. It's actually coming soon.
