well i've been lowered for over a year now on S-techs springs and OTG 10mm spacers rolling on sport max 501's 15X8 195/50R15's
now i use to have Falken's on the car and now i have some Federal tires on there. they don't stretch like the falkens do.
my problem is after i switched the falkens to the Federals i scrape the tire on the RR very very bad. it never did it with the falkens before since the tire was stretched. the RR also looked and measured like a 1/8 to a 1/3 inch lover then the rest of the car. i swapped the springs around and changed the shock for a brand new Toyota one (40 bucks wasted) and im still scraping. nothing looks bent but i don't know what to do since that side was always that low. should i try new teins or what? is it the OTG's causing a problem causing it to sit lower then the other side. i would love to sit lower with some Tanabes but really want a stiffer spring. Teins are way WAY too soft.
are the girls i get together with too fat for my ride? it sucks i can only carry me and my one year old around town :-P cant even let my 130 lb fiance ride in it. :-P. i weigh about 135 myself.
ill try and get some pics up later. all i have is my dinky 3 year old camera phone |

I'm having a similar problem but with my Tein H techs! I get 2 people in the backseat and the rear drops to where it's almost touching the tires... :nails:
I think these Teins suck!!! I'll probably switch them out next spring! |

| I really think the Teins are super soft. The back end of my car doesn't sag nearly as low on the DF210s as it did on H.Techs. |

| the only real deal is that its only one corner of the car and i already swapped the springs so i dunno. i never hit anything and everything seems to be in order.even with the stock springs in the car the RR sits a tad lower still |

It's not lower on that corner. The axle isn't center, more then likely its rubbing the fender lip. Roll the fender and you aught to be alright.
BTW with mine on Skunk Springs 2 adults in the back drags the muffler on the ground, on every bump. |

ive got 16x8 with 15 offset and 195/50/16
i had to roll the fenders and run -3 camber to get mine to stop rubbing.
mine seem to sit lower on the passenger side.
ive mesured from the top of the wheel well to the ground so im sure its not my axle.
ive checked between my lower perch and my ajustment collars and thet both ends of the springs are seated right, ive also made sure the tops of the shocks are tight.
everything checks out.
the only thing i can figure is that one spring is just setled more then the other. |

how do you "roll" a fender. illl run a search on it after i post this but i hit it with a hammer and it help slightly but not too much.

well, ive only got one chunky girl and she is my queen.
don't use a hammer, you will be sorry you did.
this is the best way to do it.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Eastwood-Fender-Roller-Lip-Forming-Rolling-Tool_W0QQitemZ270272038204QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270272038204&_trkparms=72%3A1144%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A1%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
after you are done with the tool, just turn around and sell it, thats what i did and i only lost $40 out of the deal.
here is me after rolling the fenders and with -3 camber, me and my wife and a bunch of stuff in the back.
ive got Tein SS coilovers. the front springs are 220 PPI so they realy don't move that much, buck the back springs are 180 PPI just like the s-techs so the back still squats quite a bit when ive got stuff in the back.
i guess it would be equill to a few chunky girls back there.
i would like to get some stronger springs in the back so it doesn't move around as much. |
