Welcome to the club.
first mod has to be the center armrest... I highly recommend tracking down an iST armrest through e-bay from Japan, although plenty of people have had good luck with the Zeta armrest as well. |

You can search and find a number of topics here on the issue, but the long and the short of it is that it doesn't come with an armrest AND although it says in the promo material that it will be an option, it never materialized in the US. Zeta makes an aftermarket one that will cost you around $100-$120 with shipping and there is a JDM one for the iST that you can get from Japan on ebay which will cost you $140+$60 shipping... plenty of positive reviews for both... I went with the iST armrest and am very happy with it. |

| I also went with the iST, and I am very happy with it. It is very stable, and it looks factory. I highly recommend it! |

the sun visors don't extend when putting them to the side of the window. Pain in the butt when its sunny in traffic. Aftermarket is giving us no real love right now either :( other then that I get up to 40 mpg on highways and 29 the lowest in the city. My friends are all 6' and all sit comfortably in the back seat. Can't wait til my first oil change so I can start hitting ~6k rpms :D
Best first mods to me would be springs and rear sway. (Especially springs if your going to be on those 18s, ull be as tall as a rav4 without probably.) |

Are you sure you want to spend $2,000 on 18" wheels? :? You can find much better looking ones for the same price if not a bit cheaper/
Jeff, xravexboix, is attempting (or doing?) a GB for the iST armrest so best bet is to sign up for it if you want to avoid eBay.
I second the rear anti-sway bar, best buy hands down. Even before the armrest! |

^ the only real reason im getting the black trds is because my friend actually works at toyota and hes gonna include that at no extra charge but if i had to pay 2k NO WAY
and yes the first things im gonna do is center console drop and sway bars and tints and window vent shades |

I was wondering if the visors on the Yaris (with extensions) are the same size. Don't recall if they have the mirrors or not, but if they fit, it'd be a useful swap. |

MY RS1 came out to $20,000 nearly to the penny. I pay $330 a month for it, i put $2K down, and was slightly upside down from the POS cobalt i traded in as well.
god that thing sucked balls. just CHEAP front to back, materials, workmanship...ugh gross. dont get me started. :nope: |
