Another " I Got Popped"

Just cruisin around Simi Valley, Ca see the usual 10 cops in a 2 block radius and then one passes me while starring at me, turns around and pulls me over. i have aftermarket headlights, no front liscence plate, intake, custom exhaust with a 30inch resonator (for the header i just took off) and a carbon fiber hood. Thank god he only gave me a fix it ticket for the head lights cause there is no amber reflector on the side and no front liscence plate. DANM I AM LUCKY There is no state ref until january because of state funds i have heard and the cop confirmed that. So how many preople are getting popped now a days cause ive been hearing about it way too much lately.

You got really lucky there lol , Ca is going down hill with these laws, you should move to florida there are not as strict over here :P

all depends lately there has been more cops than usual and they are starting to get smart and know what to look for

I think it was the lack of a front plate that really did you in. It's such an easy thing for them to spot and something they're always looking for these days. That's all it takes, then since they have you stopped, some of them will take the time to look for any other potential violations.

This happened to me the first time back in '92, stopped for no front plate, but then he noticed my tint and gave me a ticket for that too. The tint was VERY light (almost factory), while the rear windows had dark tint, but he informed me that ANY tint on the front side windows was illegal.

There are a total of 2 cops in my county........TWO!
They could care LESS what you're running in your car....that is unless it's a bunch of marijuana plants hanging out of the windows blowing in the wind.....

I got popped for my tints, received a fix it ticket. Took them off got the ticket signed off, and I put them back on. If you know it's illegal expect to get in trouble.

Did this happen near Tapo Canyon and Alamo? Every time I pass through that area I see at least 4 or 5 cops in one or two blocks. They seem to swarm around that block because the police station is located there.

My point is why make a new name and post up that you got a ticket, what is he embarressed that everyone will say haha, no but ok you got pulled over and yes his car looks nice so why throw plates on the kaminari kit..I sure wouldn't. Heck I got ticket for a loud exhaust and yet I didn't make a new name to post about it because I have nothing to be ashame of because I knew that it was too loud and that was my risk.
