Is that the wheelskins? I ordered leather samples to see what color would go with my HTM the best (besides black). Looks nice! |

Yep, it is wheelskins. Good product.
Did you order dark grey to see if the color match better to the steering wheel?
I just can't wait so I order black. |

GREAT Job! :)
I really did not like the stock rubber wheel texture. |

Yeah, I ordered drk grey, another grey (can't think of the name right now - I'm kinda torn between the two), green (which wasn't terrible actually), blue (which strangely didn't look that bad because it was so dark, but its def not my choice), cobalt blue (I knew it probably wouldn't go that well, but I'm desperate for some "pop" with my HTM, if you know what I mean. It's hard to pop with this color and not look ridiculous), black and one other color. Maybe I just need to take some pics of how they look. I compared them to the HTM paint on the outside and they look really subdued, then I put them against the steering wheel and upholstery on the inside, and they really shine against the black and greys.
How is the leather on heating and cooling? I was worried about it getting too hot for my hands in the summer. I've actually been pretty happy with the OEM wheel on that account. |

Thanks everyone for your positive comment.
Direness,
For me, I don't want anything too outstanding. Good looking oem style is what I am going after.
That's why I installed a toyota oem homelink on my roof line too!
Black leather blends in very well with the interior and the material is GREAT.
I think with or without the leather, your steering wheel will get HOT under the sun. But to answer your question, I think it works very well in both cool and hot weather.
Also, all leather steering wheel will get some shine after a period of usage. It is natural.
I hope these info helps!
Cheers..... |

ive had this for a while and its been wearing nicely. first it had sort of a sticky feel from it (i guess it was from the leather oils) but thats gone and its been holding up well... here is another pic for those deciding to get this..
keep in mind that i decided to reverse the way that i put this on. the small black end on top is supposed to be on the bottom. i just like it better this way |

I had a two tone perferated Wheekskin in my 4Runner, and installed a standard black one in my xB2 a couple of weeks ago. I like the perferated one better, but expect the new one to break in and feel nicer and nicer.
miketf...what seats are those in your xB? |
