| Posted: 3/21/05 11:03AM Post subject: HOW TO CHANGE SPRINGS???? |
|
|
hey guys....i just wanted to know how hard is it to change springs on a car? i have a '98 corolla, and with a system in it, the back sags big time. i am looking towards eibach pro-kit, 1.3" drop, and hopefully it will correct my problem with lower and stiffer springs.
would i need anything else changed if i do this swap? would i need to get a camber kit? any help is appreciated....thanks.  |

if your struts are gone, you're gonna want some new ones. get kyb GR-2's. $58 apiece.
also, you will have to either disconnect your rear brake lines, or cut a tab into the rear struts to slip the lines in and out of the stock ones.
if the bolts aren't too tight, allot about 2+ hours to do this job. also, if you're careful, and have a heavy friend, you won't need a spring compressor.
you're on the wrong forum for corolla help dude

| Yes, go to a corolla site for this matter. (Not to be rude, but you'll find more help there) |
